COMMISSIONS
At Ash & Plumb, we create bespoke handcrafted vessels that bridge the past and present, bringing warmth, texture, and a deep connection to nature into contemporary spaces. Our commissions range from individual statement pieces for collectors to curated series for interior designers, architects, and brands. Each piece is crafted with intention—rooted in history, shaped by hand, and finished with techniques that enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
If you’re seeking a unique sculptural vessel tailored to a specific project or space, we would love to collaborate.
If there is a particular vessels or artwork that you'd like to commission a similar version of, please specify in the form below or reach out to us on email on hello@ashandplumb.co.uk

OUR PROCESS
We work closely with clients to ensure each piece resonates with their vision and setting. Here’s how our commission process unfolds:
1. Initial Consultation
We begin with a conversation—whether via email, video call, or in person—to understand your vision, project scope, materials, and design requirements. We welcome references, mood boards, or spatial context to help shape the creative direction.
2. Proposal & Design Development
Following our discussion, we’ll provide a proposal outlining the design concept, materials, finishes, timeline, and pricing. Depending on the scale of the project, this may include initial sketches or material samples. Adjustments can be made before finalizing the design.
3. Deposit & Scheduling
Once the details are agreed upon, we require a deposit to secure the commission and allocate time in our workshop schedule.
4. Crafting & Progress Updates
Your vessel will be hand-turned, carved, and finished using traditional techniques and contemporary processes. Depending on the complexity of the piece, we can provide progress updates, including images and insights into the making process.
5. Finishing & Approval
Once the vessel is complete, we’ll share final images for approval. Any final refinements will be made to ensure the piece is exactly as envisioned.
6. Delivery & Installation
Each piece is carefully packed for safe transport. If guidance on display, placement, or installation is needed, we’re happy to provide recommendations.
